What makes our products unique?

All our products are hand-made with the finest ingredients. What sets our chocolates apart is the use of Belgian couvertures (which is a very high quality chocolate which has about 55-75% cocoa content, along with cocoa butter which gives our products a smooth, rich, texture) as opposed to other brands, which use chocolate compounds (these have a lower cocoa content, and also contain sugar and hydrogenated vegetable fats, and contain no cocoa butter at all).

Are the chocolates made at Mysteries of Bean vegetarian?

Yes, all our products are vegetarian. In case a product contains eggs or other non-vegetarian ingredients, we mention it along with the product itself.

Do any of the chocolates contain alcohol?

No, the chocolates do not contain alcohol. In case a product contains alcohol as its ingredients, we mention it along with the product itself.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE

How long can the chocolates be stored?

When stored in optimal conditions, the chocolate bars, nut clusters are good for consumption within 3 months. However, the truffles, bonbons, filled bars, and similar chocolates that contain soft-center fillings are made using fresh ingredients, and we recommend consumption within 2 weeks.

The chocolates have developed a white-ish coating, are they still safe to consume?

Yes. It is completely safe to consume. Moisture, temperature changes and inadequate handling of chocolate often causes “fat bloom” and “sugar bloom” that causes a white coating or grey splotches on the surface.

Do you accept bulk orders?

Is it possible to customize our orders?

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Do you ship pan-India?

We offer our entire menu for delivery within Delhi NCR. However, due to the sensitive nature of our products, we offer a restricted menu for delivery pan-India.

How long does it take to process the orders?

Every single chocolate is made fresh at our chocolate studio, in small batches, by hand. We make our very best effort to ensure that every order goes out within 24-72 hours during business days. Please note additional time may be needed during peak holiday rush.

What is the estimated time period for delivery?

We make our very best effort to ensure that every order goes out within 24-72 hours of placing the order. For delivery in Delhi NCR, we use hyperlocal delivery services to deliver our products. Hence, they are delivered the same day we ship them. For pan India shipping, an addition 2-3 days are needed.

How do I track my order?

What are the shipping days for pan-India orders?

We ship our products from Monday to Wednesday, to avoid the chocolates being in a transit facility over the weekend. This is done to prevent the chocolates from melting in transit or a shipping facility that is not temperature controlled.

Will my chocolate melt in transit?

All are orders are sent with iced gel packs in temperature-controlled boxes to ensure your chocolates stay cold during transit. Unfortunately, we still can’t guarantee that your chocolate will arrive intact during the sweltering summer months.

What to do if the chocolate reaches melted or soft?

Chocolate has a great shelf life and can be reset very easily. So just pop it back in the fridge for 30 mins or so and it should be fine. It may not have the same shape but it still tastes great and has a good shelf life.

PAYMENT

How can I pay for my orders?

You can make all payments through Paytm, GooglePay, UPI, Netbanking, Credit card or a bank transfer. We are unable to accept Cash-on-Delivery presently.

What should I do, if my payment did not go through?

In case this happens, don’t worry, you will automatically be redirected to the checkout page where you can try again.  If it still doesn’t work, you can write an email to anubhuti@mysteriesofbean.com and we will fix it for you.

RETURN, REFUND & CANCELLATION

Can I modify my order after placing it?

We can make this happen, but only if before the order is packed for dispatch. So, quickly write in an email to us at anubhuti@mysteriesofbean.com regarding the changes that you would like to make in your order and we will get our team to hold the order and process the modifications. Hope to catch them in time. Fingers crossed!

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

You can write to us at anubhuti@mysteriesofbean.com, we will try cancelling it for you, provided the order hasn’t been packed for dispatch. We have limited control over this, we are sorry if we do not manage cancelling it.

Can I return my products?

All of our products are handmade, perishable items. As such our chocolates are non-returnable and non-refundable. However, if you have any issues or complaints with your purchase, please contact us. We are here to help.

What if I have entered incorrect shipping address?

In case of an incorrect shipping address, pls let us know at the earliest. You can write to us at anubhuti@mysteriesofbean.com, we will change the shipping address, provided the order hasn’t been dispatched. We are not responsible for wrong shipping addresses or invalid addresses. Any returned items due to the wrong address being given will be charged appropriately.
